Allbridge Classic is a versatile bridging solution, enabling the transfer of value between a wide variety of EVM and non-EVM chains.
Casper became our 19th integrated network, enabling access to Casper’s ecosystem from unique chains like Solana, NEAR Protocol, Avalanche, and many more!
A typical transfer through Allbridge Classic consists of 2 transactions, one from the Source chain (sending transaction) and a second one on the Destination chain (receiving transaction). The user must sign transactions from both blockchains and pay the network’s gas fee.
At launch, the bridge supports the transfers of our ecosystem token, ABR, but we are looking to expand the number of available bridging options with newly integrated assets.
With more transfers becoming available, certain questions might arise due to the nature of wrapped tokens. For example, if you are transferring Ether from Ethereum, you will receive aeETH on Casper Network.
In this case, the first letter of the wrapped assist indicates that Allbridge bridged it, hence the letter “a.” The second letter in the name stands for blockchain it originates from, Ethereum in this example.
After receiving the wrapped assets, you would have to go through the unwrapping process to obtain the native Casper tokens and interact with the network.
